There is a huge demand for coders at the present and the coming days. Statistics say that more than 70% of all new STEM jobs are in computing, but hardly 10% of STEM graduates are in Computer Science. So there is a SERIOUS shortage of CS majors.

2. Competitive advantage for entrance to jobs or higher studies.
If you have a skill which is the need of the hour and that many of your competitors lack–such as coding ability–it’s obvious that you appear more desirable for college admission authority and interviewers for jobs.

Most people do not know the basic making of smartphones, laptops, social media networks, and video games run. But when you have Basic programming knowledge you can have a different look on how we interact with the technologies we use (and take for granted) daily.
